Network Profile Editor is a simple tool to manage your network profiles that are automatically generated by Windows.
If you ever wondered if it was possible to change how your WiFi or wired connection shows up when you click the network icon in the Windows system tray, this tool is for you. Since these labels are literally just used for identification by humans, making changes to these profiles makes sense. While it is possible to do this without using a tool such as Network Profile Editor, Windows does not provide a way to do so easily. It requires digging through the registry to make those changes.
