FileGen Free is an application that helps you quickly generate large amounts of files for testing. It was designed to help debug applications that run into issues on large amount of file system based databases such as the older versions of StorURL. After seeing a cool application that generated tons of data for SQL databases, I got the idea to build this application for testing.

Prerequisites
The following items are required for FileGen Free to run properly.
The following operating systems are supported for running FileGen Free. It may run on other operating systems, but I have not tested any except the ones listed.
I'm using FileGen on XP. It doesn't generate variables in the generated files. I can add variables and values, but they don't get inserted into the file. Also I can't delete variables. The delete button is greyed out.
